1,000,000 Nexus 4 sold since its release

Curious XDA forum members have recently decided to try to find out why the Nexus 4 all the time do not have enough customers, how many units of the smartphone has been made and how many are actually sold. And who is to blame for all the hype with the lack of devices for consumers. Get enough IMEI-numbers of smartphones and a stroll to the site LG, where this IMEI-codes can get various information about a specific device, folks have concluded that for the day were sold at least 1 million copies of the smartphone Nexus 4. Million black gadget was sold on February 5 in Turkey.

The whole story started with the fact that Koreans have declared, as if Google made incorrect assumptions about the number of sales of Nexus 4. It was finally produced an insufficient number of units Nexus'ov.

Now LG really stepped up the production of smartphones. In October, they were released only 70,000, slightly more left the assembly line in November - 90 000, 210 000 in December, and more than 550,000 in January. This corresponds to the statement by the representative of LG that production increased smartphone and the deficit for this model will be only a memory.
Late last month, Nexus 4 again appeared for sale on Google Play. At the time, the model with 8 gigabytes of built-in memory was quickly sold out, 16-igabaytnaya variation was still available. This is amazing! Smartphone sold out in just 30 minutes from the start of sales in the U.S..
However, if we talk about today, it is worth noting that the smartphone comes to owners within 2-3 weeks from date of order in that time, in late January delivery was carried out for 1-2 weeks. So now the account of the traffic wanting to buy Nexus 4 probably is true, and devices will be enough for everyone. But it is still only on the version of XDA. Since the demand for the device is really speculative, it is likely, in the near future we can expect some official press release from LG with verifiable figures.
