The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
finally got official earlier today, but with its unveiling came some
questions as well. For example – when is it going to be out? What we
found out was that the United States and Sweden would be getting it
first, sometime “this summer”. That’s not very detailed.
However, now we’ve heard a rumor that comes with an actual release date attached. If you’re in the UK, apparently you are to expect the S4 Active to be in stores on July 1. This allegedly comes from a “well-known source” of SamMobile, so we’re assuming it’s thought to be rather legit.
Although it’s already made the announcement, Samsung is expected to
showcase the Galaxy S4 Active (alongside the Galaxy S4 Mini and the
still unofficial Galaxy S4 Zoom) at an event in London on June 20. Since
that’s going to be held in the UK, perhaps we’re going to get some more
details about availability over there then. In the meantime, we’ll let
you know if something else pops up.
Now if the US and Sweden are going to get this handset first, that means its launch in these two countries has to happen before this month is over. Excited?
