Nokia announced budget smartphone Lumia 625

Nokia has finally announced Lumia 625, latest member of the Lumia family which comes with a big screen and high speed 4G at an affordable price. This phone has the largest screen Nokia has ever put in a smartphone.

Lumia 625 has a 4.7″ screen with a WVGA (800×640) resolution and has a 201ppi pixel density. The screen has Gorilla Glass 2 protection, but this time its a LCD screen as compared to the OLED ClearBlack display used in other Lumia phones.

The phone is equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB Internal storage which you can expand up to 64GB by using a microSD card. Lumia 625 is packed with a 2000mAh battery, which is capable of running the phone for a full day with medium usage.

Lumia 625 features a 5MP primary camera, which can record full HD 1080p videos and a secondary camera at the front for video calling. It is also equipped with Nokia’s latest Smart Camera technology, first seen in Lumia 925. The phone also offers 4G/LTE connectivity, but sadly in Pakistan its of no use.

The phone is set to release in third quarter of this year worldwide and will be available in a range of colors including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black with an array of changeable shells enabling easy personalization.
