Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini gets official, comes in dual SIM, 3G and LTE flavors

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy S4 Mini, thus leaving other new smartphones to be unveiled at its upcoming June 20 event (these should include the Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom).

The S4 Mini – model number GT-I9190 – is everything we’ve expected it to be. Presented by Samsung as  

“A Powerful yet compact version of its bestselling smartphone”
  • The handset sports a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display
  • Measures 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94 mm
  • Weighs 107 grams.

  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • Wi-Fi a/b/g/n
  • GPS with Glonass
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 1.9MP front-facing camera
  • 8MP rear camera
  • dual-core 1.7GHz processor
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • A 1,900m Ah battery. 
  • The handset has only 8GB of internal memory
  • with approximately 5GB available to users. Of course
  • there’s also MicroSD card support (up to 64GB).
The Galaxy S4 Mini will have a regular 3G version, an LTE one (GT-I9195) , and a dual SIM (GT-I9192) one. Color options include white and black (at least for the beginning).
