Samsung’s Galaxy Mega phablets delayed?

Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 i9200 and Galaxy Mega 5.8 i9150 were announced in April, with the promise that they’d be released starting May in Europe. Last we heard, the Mega 6.3 was supposed to become available in week 19 (May 6 – May 12), and the Mega 5.8 this week (May 13 – May 19). Still, no one is selling either of them at the moment.

Even more, European retailers suggest that the new phablets won’t be launched this month at all. In the UK, where the Mega 5.8 will not be sold anyway, Carphone Warehouse (via The Inquirer) says it’s going to stock the Galaxy Mega 6.3 only starting July.
In Netherlands, the Mega 6.3 should be out in week 23 (June 3 – June 9), while the smaller Mega 5.8 may not arrive until week 30 (July 22 – July 28).
