Sony has announced a brand new Android smartphone – the Xperia ZR, which can be considered an improved, waterproof version of the Xperia SP .

131 x 67.4 x 10.4 mm vs. 130.6 x 67.1 x 10 mm).
The Xperia ZR is IP58-certified, providing “the highest level of
water-resistance”, and allowing users to “keep it submerged in 1.5
meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.” This, of course, enables
seamless photo and Full HD video shooting underwater. Like the Xperia Z flagship (sold in several million units around the world), the ZR is also dust-proof.
