Nokia Eos to have a red version

While Nokia’s Lumia 920, 928 and 925 are undoubtedly excellent camera phones, there is still room for improvement. And this is where the Nokia Eos comes in. Of course, Nokia hasn’t confirmed the existence of the Eos, but the handset has been pictured yesterday from various angles. And now hints that it’s going to have a red version have also appeared.

Someone in China (log in required) has posted photos of a red Eos case – showing once again that the smartphone’s rear camera is huge. More exactly, it should be a 41MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash. Camera aside,

The Nokia Eos should feature:
  • 4.5 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with 1280 x 768 pixels
  • dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 32GB of internal memory
  • 1280 * 768 resolution OLED screen
  • 41 million pixel camera
  • Xenon flash
  • Nokia Pro Camera
  • 32GB built-in storage space does not support microSD card expansion
  • Thickness of 9.7 mm
  • GDR2 WP8 V8.0.10322.71 FM radio flip mute function
  • Polycarbonate shell
Rumor has it that Nokia will launch the Eos sometime in July. The handset’s final name isn’t know for now.
There is no word on where, or by what carriers the Nokia Eos will be released. However, since Nokia will probably be very proud of it, the new smartphone should be widely available around the world – including in the US (where the Lumia 920 and Lumia 928 can be already bought, while the Lumia 925 will be launched this month).via
