The CyanogenMod team released soon the Ribbon Quick Access

CyanogenMod team will say goodbye sooner than later to "power widgets" and welcoming, as a substitute for Quick Access Ribbon. For those not imagine what the Ribbon Quick Access can be, then we explain all that the CyanogenMod team has detailed.

Developers who form the CyanogenMod team are working again on something innovative for its ROM and included in the next nightlies. This is a new item in your ROMs that would solve a problem that these developers are currently: the Stock Android QuickSettings and "power widgets" in the notification bar. The fact that these two elements coexist in the same ROM is unnecessary and also places an additional burden on the code itself.

TouchWiz CyanogenMod approaches with Ribbon Quick Access

For this reason, the guys at CyanogenMod want to convey, we are working on what they themselves have called Quick Access Ribbon. This new element in the CyanogenMod ROMs as suggest and as catch, would like TouchWiz quick adjustments, ie those incorporating all Samsung Galaxy. Then we leave capture Ribbon and Quick Access these quick adjustments Samsung to judge for yourselves.

The Samsung (left) have in common with CyanogenMod (right), that the two are "movable", ie as we do horizontal scrolling on settings, they appear more rapid adjustments to our terminal. It is not at all a bad idea. While Stock Android occupies a large space with Quick Settings and also have to open a "new window" to manipulate, now with Ribbon Quick Access would be doing even more comfortable and fast.
Furthermore, according to the CyanogenMod team, accomplishing this that they're up to over 3000 would replace lines of code for just 400 more new. There is all this here but, having read the CyanogenMod team all the readers of this release have been proposed, state that this "quick adjustments tape" will be customizable. We imagine that, obviously, can be customized by themes (topics) or by some simple color adjustments to incorporate the ROM. Source: + CyanogenMod
