The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 could use all 8 cores at once

When the South Korean company officially introduced the Samsung Galaxy S4 one of the most striking was that it was a smartphone with a processor more or less than 8 cores. Yet what was our surprise when we found out that actually did not have an 8-core processor but actually tried two processors with four cores each.

Other data not forget about these processors is that they are not equal, but that one is high-performance and a low performance and power consumption. These two quad-core processors are alternated and work according to the needs of the device but the fact is that at no time operate the 8 cores at once. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 , presented by the company just last week at IFA in Berlin, also has these two processors and also operate simultaneously.

However, this could change very soon, and we now know that the company could make both the Samsung Galaxy S4 as the Galaxy Note 3 to be compatible with the simultaneous use of 8 processors via an update. This information will comes from the hand of Meizu, those with a smartphone called MX3 with a processor manufactured by the South Korean company, which launched shortly.
According to the Chinese company Meizu, on the updates there is a system called Hmp that allows the simultaneous use of several different processors, system that could adapt to Samsung devices to allow the user to enjoy the 8 cores at once and could get through an update.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 have the same processor: A 5 Octa core Exynos eight cores, but we must not forget that not all market models both devices have this processor, since we can find some with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 600, such as, without going any further, in the model that is sold in Spain.
But of course being able to use all 8 cores at once will also have its downside, not everything was going to be like a rose garden. Obviously, the first disadvantage is the battery, which is used up faster, losing much autonomy, something that surely does not finish please users. However, we still do not know what Samsung intends to do, so we have to keep waiting. via AndroidAyuda .
