Asus has officially announced a new Android tablet: the Memo Pad ME172V, first seen back in December.
Like the Acer Iconia B (unveiled last week), the Memo Pad ME172V is an entry-level device that tries to win the hearts of those who can’t afford to pay too much for a tablet – not even $199 (the price of Google’s Nexus 7, which is also made by Asus).
The new Asus Memo Pad Features:
Later this year, Asus could launch its first tablet powered by an
Intel Atom processor: the ME371MG. This should also run Android 4.1
Jelly Bean, sporting a 7 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels. We’ll
