Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue gets announced as a budget Android tablet that can make phone calls

Huawei has announced its latest tablet today, the MediaPad 7 Vogue. This is probably supposed to be an affordable 7-incher, and it has the ability to make phone calls too. Why this trend of phone call-making tablets is catching on among manufacturers is entirely a mystery. Though the five people in the world who would enjoy holding a tablet to their faces while speaking on “the phone” are surely spoiled for choice at this point.

Huawei has been trying its hand at tablets for a couple of years now, but so far just with moderate success. It’s churned out quite a few MediaPad models, but none has emerged as a best seller. Yet. Maybe this will be it. Or not. We’ll see.
The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue comes with
