Motorola is getting ready to publish some ads in major US
publications, and they’re going to let the world know more about its
upcoming Moto X phone.
The ads should appear tomorrow in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.
They have already appeared online thanks to Ad Age, so we can see them today.
Alongside the fact that the Moto X is built in the US (which we already knew), one of the ads reads that this is “the first smartphone you can design yourself. Because today you should have the freedom to design the things in your life to be as unique as you are.” Since Motorola puts it like that, it could be more than just the phone’s color that end users can choose. Unfortunately, we’ll probably find out exactly how the Moto X is customizable only when this is ready for sale – hence sometime this fall. Or maybe a bit sooner, as the ads say the handset is “coming soon.” We’ll see.
Meanwhile, Verizon Wireless is also getting ready to introduce new Motorola-made smartphones. These will be included in the Droid Ultra family. They probably are related to the Moto X in some ways – we just don’t know which ways for now.via TheVerge
