Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie could be based on Linux Kernel 3.8

The new firmware Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie probably will not see the light until May, at the conclusion of the Google I / O developer conference, the website hosted by Google, and that it may be exploited to present the new version , which apparently could be based on Linux Kernel 3.8.

The latest information coming in this regard, is that the Mountain View company has released a pilot repository Linux Kernel 3.8. This would be based on a standard Linux kernel in which Google would have made some modifications. These new data, which come from the web Phoronix could confirm that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie would come with the Linux 3.8 kernel, which would silence those voices that indicated that it would not.

If confirmed, it will be good news for manufacturers and developers

Moreover, this Kernel 3.8 include some pretty remarkable improvements in the Android community, as is support for processors and Nvidia Tegra Samsung Exynos. Therefore, if eventually confirmed this information, this is certainly good news for manufacturers and developers, facing compatibility issues, will avoid extra work in order to support these processors. Also would entail less use of RAM memory, which means greater efficiency and performance.
No doubt that Google is betting big on the new version of Android 5.0 Kie Lime Pie, and it is said that something big is brewing within the company's Mountain View ( even seems to include more things ), to position against new operating systems that have been introduced lately as Ubuntu and Firefox OS, which come stomping.
Ultimately, this issue is already underway and developers who wish may begin to soak up the code before the release of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. The news seems to be great.
