HTC already thought of a customizable smartphone like the Motorola Moto X

Motorola, with the new Motorola Moto X wanted to give a blow on the table and revolutionize the mobile phone market today. Apparently HTC already had above the brilliant idea that Motorola has implemented, but "could not take it beyond the papers."

According unveiled The Verge, HTC and would have tried to launch the model that Motorola has taken with the Motorola Moto X. Obviously we are talking about customizing the terminal, noteworthy aspect of the new smartphone from Motorola, the "Google company".

HTC and Motorola, giving personality terminals

Being able to customize your smartphone, clearly gives the qualities within terminal "unique" (not quite, but almost) we feel that the phone is really yours. That is, when you buy a product that is manufactured in series, little can feel "identified" with him and still do. However, when you can customize the product according to your tastes and needs, endow the smartphone, tablet or whatever the product, aspects that "bind" yourself.
Motorola has launched the Motorola Moto X with certain customization options. Remember enough to customization of the products of some major manufacturers of shoes in which you can choose colors, fabrics, prints and other aspects that make a product "unique". Well, although it seems that Motorola has been the only company with the bright idea that we mentioned, HTC and would have tried to do something very similar.

Design Studio of HTC

Design Studio online tool would have allowed us (for Sprint) users, customize the HTC 8X to our liking. We would have been able to choose, according to the above screenshot, the color of various parts of the terminal. Among the colors, as we can see, would be orange, red, yellow, green (two shades), blue, pink and black. Furthermore, we would have been able to customize your smartphone with a brief text on the back which highlights the logo "Beats Audio".

Overpriced for HTC, maybe someday

HTC and Sprint left behind this project because the costs would amount which would have more than advisable. However, having moved tab Motorola, not unlikely that in the future we see HTC taking up the left half project, the project will uncover today thanks to The Verge. We'll see how it sells the Motorola Moto X and these data, like us, will serve to HTC to have a clearer answer to this question. Source: TheVerge
