HTC launches Flyer tablet

HTC launches Flyer tablet in India, One of the global leaders in smartphone industry HTC has announced launch of its first tablet "Flyer" in India. This will be in competition with already existing leaders like the BlackBerry "Playbook", Samsung "Galaxy Tab" and of course, the iPad.

The 7-inch, 1024x600 TFT capacitive touch screen with a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor seems to be pretty close competition to its rivals Samsung and BlackBerry. It sports a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera to support video chat through the video chat applications available in the Android Market. The HTC Flyer will be priced around Rs. 37,999 in India.
