Sony C190X leaks, it's a lower-midrange smartphone launching in Q3

Sony's definitely showing no signs of stopping in the ever-increasing expansion of its mobile device range. So do expect a lot more alphabet soup when it comes to the Japanese company's smartphones.
This time in the news is the C190X, where X is going to be a number that differs by region. This is Sony's new model number naming scheme, but rest assured - this device will be called Xperia something when it becomes official.

A sample from the Camera C1905 (one of the variations of the C190X) has Been spotted, and A purported list of specs for the Handset has Made ITS Way to VR-Zone . ACCORDING to IT, this Phone Will Sit in Sony's Portfolio just below the Xperia L .
  • The C190X will have a 4-inch 480 × 854 touchscreen
  • 5 MP rear camera
  • 720p HD video recording,
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 4 GB of internal storage space
  • microSD card slot.
The chipset to be used hasn't been decided yet, it seems, with Sony having to choose between two Qualcomm parts, the MSM8627 or the MSM8230. They're both dual-core.
As for which version of Android the C190X will run, this will certainly be Jelly Bean. Which iteration of Jelly Bean, 4.1 or 4.2, is not known yet. And it's hardly surprising that some details are still being ironed out, seeing as how this phone is only supposed to get its coming out party around the end of the third quarter of this year (which, to us, means late August or September). That said, we'll definitely let you know if we find out more about this model in the meantime.
