Adobe has made some official statements which relates everything related to a series of internal restructuring. Something that has not been openly communicated cessation Adobe Flash development for mobile devices.
Sources close to ZDNet have said that Adobe will cease development of its plugins for Adobe Flash on mobile operating systems. Apparently this decision is based on their intended support developers to port their applications to Adobe Air and that they can be downloaded and installed from any app store.
All this user will that if at any future version of Android or WebOS need to recompile the application to be compatible with it, Adobe will not support Adobe Flash Player for these operating system versions. Also not generate specific versions of Adobe Flash Player for mobile devices that need a player concrete adapted to their capabilities. For all these new developments will be required to use Adobe Air and HTML5 instead.
