The Sony Xperia Z2 could reach New Year's Day

As they say, "New year, new life" or in this case new smartphone. This is what Sony should have thought, since apparently could begin next 2014 with a new smartphone: the Sony Xperia Z2. The Japanese company would be working hard on a new generation to take the place that currently has the Sony Xperia Z1 , released a few weeks ago.

Previously, we have seen pictures of what could be this new smartphone from Sony and now we've got to know some specifications, along with a release date that seems pretty clear. From AndroidSaS comment that the latest reports suggest that the Sony Xperia Z2 will feature a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,920 pixels and a thickness of only7.1 millimeters.
Regarding the photo camera, the rear would remain the same as used in the Sony Xperia Z1 of 20.7 megapixels you would be able to record video with quality 4K, while the front would be 3.5 megapixels.
Other features of the Sony Xperia Z2 that we have known in previous rumors, say that would carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 800, 3GB RAM, 3.200mAh battery and Android 4.4 operating system KitKat. Returning to the subject of the screen, above must be added that it was also discussed, which matches its size and also speak of IGZO technology would have Triluminos and a density of 500 pixels per inch. As we can see, if all this is true it would be a totally beastly smartphone.

New Year could be the day chosen for presentation

Yes, as we said before, the latest reports suggest that the Japanese company would have chosen the last day of 2013 or the first of 2014 to give to the world their new great smartphone.
At other times the rumors pointed to could be released at CES in Las Vegas to be held between 7 and 10 January, but it now seems that Sony have decided ahead a few days and present New Year.
However, we are dealing with rumors and both the technical specifications and possible release dates have not been officially confirmed by Sony, so we must remain vigilant and wait to see what happens eventually and when it is the day chosen by the company to dazzle us with its new flagship.
