Nokia N8, the update also improves camera Anna

That is one of the most popular terminals from Nokia, the N8, and now is about to receive the new operating system update, Symbian Anna. Through the new software is going to improve, among other things, the user interface, Nokia Maps, Web browsing and camera.
Symbian Anna is the new version of the operating system from Nokia that will come to Spain from September. It is available for terminals with Symbian ^ 3. Specifically, the Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7. The update, as mentioned, will bring many improvements to these terminals as a new user interface, virtual QWERTY keypad in portrait mode, a renewed split screen messaging, enhanced Nokia Maps and web browsing and several implementations related to the security issue. Additionally, the camera will implement a number of improvements over Carl Zeiss optics since birth was the best.

To introduce the new features on your camera, Nokia has taken into account the suggestions of the owners of a Nokia N8 through your blog. Among these improvements are: video recording at shorter distances, moving images and panoramic sharper, faster access to scene modes, exposure control for video, a new grid viewer that is not affected by the modes scene, improved red-eye option (the new algorithm thus active when the flash mode is automatic) and direct access to the settings.

Changes inside

For starters, it has changed the user interface of the camera, as it has improved in general of all equipment with Symbian Anna. The changes are subtle but has tried to improve the accessibility and ease of use. For example, from the main toolbar there is a single access functions to both settings, and select a scene mode, you only have two clicks instead of four.

To facilitate the use of settings and functions, has also introduced a selection system which reverts to the viewer without having to go back step by step, just press the shutter button to confirm the setting and return to the beginning. The camera software has been some improvements, as users probably are not going to feel when we make a photograph, but in the final quality of the same. For example, Night Portrait mode is reduced to 1/5, the shutter speed, if necessary.

On the video, the recording speed has increased by 5 fps up to 30 fps with continuous autofocus, and has improved the focus range, ideally, from 60-80 cm to infinity, although you can use to shorter distances with macro mode. Furthermore, we implement a novelty that affects the measurement system is that it has improved control of exposure compensation, therefore if an object so bright that it is in the center of the image is now taken into account to compensate for the light metering. By the way, the ND filter (Neutral Density) has been disabled for this video to help maintain a more stable frame rate.

In addition, to reduce noise from camera while recording video, Nokia has developed a noise filtering system similar to the system noise cancellation headphones. Apparently, Nokia has taken some time to reach this result because I did not want to affect the quality of sound recording in videos that have their own audio track environment.
Finally, note that video enthusiasts have at their disposal a new film format that exceeds 16:9 is 2.39:1
Nokia Sheets.
