As Yonhap news agency, a senior executive of the Korean company confirmed Sunday that Samsung already has sold more than 10 million units of the Galaxy S III.
The multinational has hit squarely, for now, in their forecasts and if
everything continues as before, shortly sales exceed iPhone 4S and
double this figure in the autumn.
In less than two months since its official launch (May 29 in London) and meeting the expectations of Samsung, the Galaxy S III has surpassed the mythical figure of 10 million units sold. This is confirmed by Korean news agency Yonhap that has collected the statements of Shin Jong-kyun, president of the division of information technology and mobile communications of Samsung, which, however, did not give exact figures, only overcoming of these 10 million, and has not made a clear reference to actual sales if customers or units distributed in stores.
The Galaxy S III
is available in Europe and Asia since May, but in other countries like
the United States, the arrival has been staged from June to July this
month depending on the operators.
This means that as the S III has not yet deployed its full potential,
sales continue to grow, especially when its direct rival, the iPhone 5 has not been submitted yet and will not until September or October.
Meanwhile Samsung, after becoming the last quarter, the first mobile
phone manufacturer in the world, continues to grow (remember that Apple
sold during the first quarter of 35.1 million iPhone and Samsung 44.5
million in the same period) .
All that said, and knowing the latest figures, the excellent performance and popularity is gaining the Galaxy S III, Yonhap news agency questions whether Samsung could surpass, for the first time, the 40 million units sold in the same phone . Everything is possible and Korean multinational is doing his best to make it so.

Some figures
Although the final data is not entirely clear, we do know that 10% of these 10 million have been sold in South Korea. Translated into daily sales, overcoming the mythical figure in less than two months implies that Samsung has "placed" 190,000 Galaxy S III every day, well above the figures of its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S II (this terminal was able to surpass the 10 million five months after its release). All that said, and knowing the latest figures, the excellent performance and popularity is gaining the Galaxy S III, Yonhap news agency questions whether Samsung could surpass, for the first time, the 40 million units sold in the same phone .
