Samsung Galaxy Note III, the next generation of the original phablet –
is probably the next most anticipated mobile device after iPhone, still
to be launched this year.
The phablet is a few months away from launch, and early in the day we’ve heard a lot of cool rumors about it. They said that Galaxy Note III will be the first smartphone to use Samsung’s flexible Amoled display. We’ve heard that highly impressed and worried by the reception of HTC One, Samsung finally decided to pay some attention to design and produce the aluminum frame for Note III.
Sadly, according to Sam Mobile, none of those early rumors are going to pan out. Flexible Amoleds are still not ready for the primetime, while there was too little time to respond the One, rethink Note III design and produce enough aluminum frames.
And things are going great, anyway. Samsung Galaxy S4s are flying off the shelves, other Galaxies sell to the tune of tens of millions a month, so why bother. Let’s just take the old Galaxy S4 design and plastic body, make it bigger, and you’ve got yourself a brand new Galaxy Note III.
That’s exactly what Samsung is apparently going to do, with only design improvement being a narrower bezel, similar to the one on SGS4.
