Windows Phone and / or Nokia fans in the US can now order Verizon’s exclusive Lumia 928 smartphone.
The 928 costs $99.99 on contract, or $499.99 without any agreement. For some unknown reason, though, Verizon can’t ship the handset right away – it currently says that it should be delivered “by May 20” to customers who are ordering it online today. Most probably, you’ll be able to find the smartphone in retail stores anyway.
Like AT&T’s Lumia 920 (available since late 2012), the Nokia Lumia 928 comes with an 8MP PureView rear camera – one of the best ever included into a smartphone – and it even adds a Xenon flash.

Meanwhile, Nokia’s other new high-end Windows Phone 8 handset – the Lumia 925 – has appeared over at T-Mobile’s website. Sadly, there is no word on exactly when the fourth largest North American carrier will launch the 925. But it might happen in June.
