The mythical white LG Nexus 4 has been rumored and leaked for many months now, the first occurrence of that having happened all the way back in November
of last year, when we even thought it showed up by mistake. Well, it
was no mistake, yet for some reason Google and LG are still holding out
on actually releasing this variant of their jointly developed
smartphone.
Official press images depicting the white LG Nexus 4 have been leaked to Android Police this time around, and they show us the same handset we’ve already seen countless times before – and which is really only half-white.
The latest rumors have tipped June 10 as a possible announcement date
for the white Nexus 4, which might see the light of day together with
the next version of Android, 4.3 (that will probably still be called
Jelly Bean).
The white Nexus 4 has the model number E960W, and if you guessed that the black version goes by the moniker E960, you were right. The “W” in there obviously stands for the color.
Leaks of press images usually happen a few days or weeks before a new device is released, so here’s hoping that’s the case here too. The person who sent in these pictures claims that the white Nexus 4 will be offered in 8 GB and 16 GB versions only, just like its black counterpart. This is bad news for those of you who were hoping for a 32 GB model to surface too, but keep in mind that this is just a rumor at this point.
