Nokia Music for Asha handsets arriving in the next few weeks

Nokia’s Asha handsets aren’t top of the line products, so they don’t offer many of the features found on the company’s Lumia smartphones. Still, Nokia is continuously trying to improve the Asha user experience, and the latest effort in this regard will bring Nokia Music (with Mix Radio) to the Asha family.
The free service will be available to Asha devices starting the coming wees, first in Russia, then in other markets.

Unfortunately, not all Asha phones are getting Nokia Music. Only owners of full-touch models will be able to enjoy it: Asha 305, Asha 306, Asha 308, Asha 309, Asha 310, and Asha 311. Needless to say, the new (and not yet available) Asha 501 will also support Nokia Music.
“We’ve had really positive feedback from users of Nokia Music on Lumia smartphones and we wanted more people to have access to this innovative, free music service. There’s nothing quite like it for phones in this price range and I believe it will change the way many people listen to music in Russia,” said Jyrki Rosenberg, Nokia’s Vice President of Entertainment.
Nokia Music’s global library currently includes about 24 million tracks. It will be optimized for Asha handsets to be used on 2G, 3G, or Wi-Fi – for both streaming and downloading songs.via Nokia Conversations
