Nokia’s latest Windows Phone 8 handset, the Lumia 925, is available in the UK now

Two days after it was released in Germany, the Nokia Lumia 925 is now available in the UK. At least that’s what the handset’s official webpage is suggesting.
The new Windows Phone 8 device is free on plans starting at £30 on Three, at £34 on Vodafone, and at £37 on other networks (O2, EE, Orange, T-Mobile). Vodafone is offering an exclusive black 32GB version.
For a SIM free Nokia Lumia 925 (16GB) you’ll have to pay £499 (about €589, or $783).

Various British retailers also lest customers order the handset, but they don’t have in stock today. Clove, however, says it’s going to ship the 925 tomorrow, for only £480.

The 925 Features:
  • LTE
  • 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ Display
  • Aluminum body
  • Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon Processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8MP PureView camera – undoubtedly one of the best in its class
The Lumia 925 It will gradually be released in other markets starting this week. We still don’t know when it’s going to be available in the US, where T-Mobile will be the handset’s exclusive carrier. But it should happen this summer anyway. We’ll let you know.
Earlier today, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 Zoom – which will try to take the “best camera phone” title from Nokia. It remains to be seen if it manages to do that.
