The Samsung Galaxy S III has officially been on its way to Boost Mobile
for more than a couple of weeks now. If you’ve been patiently waiting
for it to reach the shores of Sprint’s prepaid brand, know that your
wait is almost over. In five short days you’ll be able to pick one up,
since it’s going to be released on June 12.
It will cost $399.99 (excluding taxes), which is pretty decent considering the fact that you won’t have to sign a two-year contract to get it at that price. On the other hand, the Galaxy S III is literally last year’s flagship, and its successor is already out at other carriers. That said, this will be Boost’s highest-end handset to date, so that pretty much says everything about how prepaid carriers value their smartphone lineups.
Of course, the Galaxy S III is no slouch even in this day and age.
It’s definitely a decent performer, and if Boost Mobile is your cup of
tea and you want a good smartphone, it should be a good fit. It even
comes with LTE support.
