Sony Xperia ZU likely to be announced on July 4

Seen in a weird photo at the end of last week, the Sony Xperia ZU (or Xperia Z Ultra) could be officially announced a bit later than expected. Sony has sent out invitations to the French media for an event that will take place on July 4.
The invitation clearly shows an ultra-thin device that resembles the on seen in the above-mentioned photo.
Moreover, the text reads “Sony Mobile is preparing a big surprise for you.” There’s also a stylus that’s been used to So all clues indicate that we’ll see the Xperia ZU (condenamed Togari). From what we’ve heard until now,
The new Xperia Features:
  • 6.44 inch Full HD display
  • Android Jelly Bean
  • quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 8MP rear camera
  • Like the already announced Xperia ZR
  • The ZU should be IP58-certified (waterproof and dustproof)

Sony is not the only company that will try to go after Samsung’s Galaxy Note. HTC is reportedly also readying the launch of a 5.9 inch phablet (stylus included) – this could be officially unveiled in the third quarter of the year under the name of HTC One Max.via
